Shaharyar ShaikhMemberHello Coach,
I have been working on targets and keeping my back foot parallel.
My foot naturally wants to turn out to the back and I feel I get less coil in the upper body if I don’t let it turn back but I am trying to coil while keeping it parallel
Here is progress:

Shaharyar ShaikhMemberThanks for a detailed analysis. I will look at the videos and follow the drills for a week and send you an updated video.
Getting racket head speed is an issue for me even on my 1st serve so looking forward to being able to get more of that through proper serve mechanics.
question: Do you want me to post a video in this thread or start a. new thread for my next video?

Shaharyar ShaikhMemberHi coach,
The serve has been progressing really well. I am hardly double faulting now and with new balls in a match the ball has a good jump to it but one thing that it’s lacking is any power/speed.
The serve is very slow and i want to add a little bit more power to it. How can I do that? Should I start adding lower body too?

Shaharyar ShaikhMemberSelf Practice: Usually 45 mins if only practicing serve. I have been practicing 2nd serves only and I will hit a few 1st serves in the end. If the practice session is 1+ hour I will practice serves for 30 mins and either drop feed (stand in alley and hit the ball straight within the alley) or use a ball machine to hit cross court from the baseline for rest of the time.
Practice with friends (doubles only): play for 2 hours. 30-45 mins free hitting from baseline and then some volley. Then play 1-2 sets for the rest of the time with rotating partners. The forehand video I sent was from practice with friends. We usually record the practice.
Is there a structure that you can propose for my self practice of 1 hour that will help me improve my doubles game?

Shaharyar ShaikhMemberHi coach,
Thanks for these videos. I will focus on keeping loose during my shots.
Here is my tennis schedule:
Once a week practice with basket of balls or ball machine
Once a week free hitting + practice set with friends
Once a week league match
Don’t think I should modify this schedule?

Shaharyar ShaikhMemberThanks coach for the review. I don’t have any physical limitations or injuries. Off the court I do CrossFit 3-4 times a week.
I will do the drills and send a video for review.

Shaharyar ShaikhMemberHi coach,
In the parallel feet video Jeff talks about the front foot being parallel to the baseline but in my video analysis you mentioned the back foot needs to be parallel to the baseline.
Do I need to work on keeping both feet parallel to the baseline?
